Revit Structure 2013 Revit Structure 2013

Revit® Structure software is Building Information Modeling (BIM) for structural engineers.  Revit Structure helps minimize repetitive modeling and drawing tasks as well as errors due to manual coordination between structural engineers, architects and drafters.

Features include:

  • Smoother coordination - everyone works from the same model.
  • Bidirectional associativity - the building model and all of its views are part of the same information system.
  • Engineers working with Architects using Revit® Architecture software can experience the advantages of working on and sharing the same underlying building database.
  • Engineers working with MEP firms can improve design coordination due to the integration with AutoCAD® and Revit® MEP.
  • Parametric Components - create many types of structural components - no programming language required.
  • Collaboration - mutliple team members on the same network can work together on a model, while their work stays fully coordinated.
  • Leading Analysis and Design Integration - analytical models created with Revit contain information such as loads, load combos, member sizes and release conditions.
