Richard Hill Equipment Technology Guru - GPS Equipment Support Team Richard Hill takes pride in the fact that he comes from a generation of land surveyors, with both his father and grandfather being licensed surveyors in the Pacific Northwest.  Prior to PPI, Richard's experience includes four years of surveying and one year as the GPS Manager for a large excavation company.  Richard understands the very practical needs of PPI's Survey and Construction clients.  Richard also comes with unique training as an Iraq War veteran, serving as a Communication Specialist with the Oregon Army National Guard, troubleshooting equipment in a combat zone.  Richard's role as a GPS Application Engineer for The PPI Group puts to use his technical ability to assist clients and the skills to explain and train people in the field and the office on all of the latest Topcon products from robotic total stations to GPS to scanners and mobile mapping systems. We affectionately call Richard our "technology guru" because of his unique ability to understand our clients and their challenges and his ability to help solve their challenges with the technology solutions we offer.
